Acceptance

By accessing or using Emo Kids Connect, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Eligibility & Age

You must be at least 18 years old. By creating an account you represent and warrant you are 18+. Accounts for under-18s will be suspended and deleted.

Accounts & Security

You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity occurring under your account. Notify us immediately of unauthorized access.

Acceptable Use — Prohibited Conduct

You may not use the service to:

• Harass, threaten, abuse, stalk, or intimidate others.
• Post hate speech or sexually exploitative content.
• Impersonate others, catfish, or misrepresent your identity.
• Share another user's private contact information, images, or doxxing material.
• Use bots, scraping tools, or automated means to access the service.
• Solicit, spam, scam, or engage in commercial solicitation without our prior written permission.

Violations may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent bans.

Community Moderation & Enforcement

We moderate content using human review and automated tools. We may remove content or suspend accounts for violations. Enforcement actions are discretionary and intended to protect the community. We may preserve records of violations to prevent recidivism and to comply with legal obligations.

User Content & License to Emo Kids LLC

You retain ownership of content you post. By posting content, you grant Emo Kids LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, use, modify, distribute, and display that content as reasonably necessary to operate and improve the service.

Marketing use: we will not use your content in marketing unless you opt in. If you opt in, you grant a limited license for promotional use as described at the time of opt-in; you may withdraw that consent for future uses.

Safety Notice

We make reasonable efforts to maintain a safe community but do not guarantee other users' behavior. You are responsible for your safety when interacting with others and meeting in person.

Payments & Fees

There are no fees at present. If we introduce payments, we will update the Terms and provide notice; payments will be processed by third-party processors and subject to their terms.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from or related to these Terms will not exceed the amount you actually paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim; if you paid nothing, liability is capped at $100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Emo Kids LLC and its officers harmless from claims arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the service.

Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree that any legal action related to these Terms or your use of the service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Riverside County, California.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violations or safety concerns. Surviving provisions include ownership, indemnity, disclaimer, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution.

Changes to Terms

We may change these Terms. Material changes will be posted with an updated effective date and, where required, notified to users.
